Description

A spark transformer, also known as an ignition or spark coil, is an electrical component used to produce high-voltage pulses across the electrodes in hot-pressure washers. The spark generated by the spark plug ignites the diesel fuel-air mixture in the boiler, providing a flame to heat the water. A spark transformer works by using a low-voltage input from the pressure washer control circuit to create a high-voltage output spark.
